Glacier Run
An icy run above the clouds, past snowy pines and peaks.
Overview
Glacier Run takes Slope into the mountains. The road is a ribbon of blue glacier ice high above a sea of clouds, framed by snowy pine forests, jagged peaks and ice arches.
The big difference is the feel. On ice the ball keeps sliding in the direction it was already moving, so steering has real momentum: you start turning late and stop turning late. Blue ice patches make it even more slippery, and icicles drop from above.
Obstacles and hazards
- Falling iciclesIcicles hang over the road and drop just as you approach. Once one starts to fall, pick the other side of the lane.
- Ice blocksSolid blocks of ice in the lane.
Special terrain
- Ice patchesExtra-slippery stretches where the ball barely responds to steering. Line up before you reach them.
- Ramps, drops and banksThe same terrain as Neon Ramp, but harder to correct on ice.
Tips
- Steer in short taps instead of holding: it is much easier to stop a small slide.
- Start counter-steering before you reach the position you want.
- Low steering sensitivity can feel more stable here.
- Before an ice patch, get to the centre and go straight across.
