Star Tube
A 360° tube in space. Roll around the walls.
Overview
Star Tube is the final and hardest world in Slope. Instead of a road you roll inside a glowing tube floating in space, and you can go all the way around its walls: up the side, across the ceiling and back down.
Steering moves you around the tube rather than left and right. Panels are missing, leaving holes into space, and asteroids drift through. Gravity is low, so the ball sticks to the wall you are on, and the view rotates with you.
Obstacles and hazards
- HolesMissing panels open onto space. Roll around them, not over them.
- AsteroidsRocks inside the tube. Treat them like blocks.
Special terrain
- 360° tubeThere are no edges: you can always escape by rolling further around the tube.
Tips
- Think in terms of the clock: move to "2 o’clock" or "10 o’clock" rather than left and right.
- The shortest way past a hole is often sideways around the tube, not straight ahead.
- Small inputs go a long way in low gravity.
- Try this world last, once the other seven feel easy.
